To reach Paros in Greece by boat, there are several convenient departure points along the Cycladic islands and the Greek mainland. From Piraeus (the port of Athens), the crossing is about 90 nautical miles, taking approximately 6 to 7 hours of sailing across the Aegean Sea with beautiful views of the surrounding islands. Departing from Naxos, which is Paros’s neighboring island, the distance is just around 10 nautical miles, making for a quick 1 to 1.5-hour sail through clear blue waters. From Santorini, located further south, the journey covers about 70 nautical miles, taking roughly 5 to 6 hours of navigation along scenic island coastlines. Each route offers stunning Aegean vistas, making the trip to Paros a truly memorable experience.
