Cannes Yachting Festival

The Cannes Yachting Festival, a public event, brings together key players from the international boating and yachting market. This includes sailboat or yacht manufacturers and importers, marine clothing designers, specialized press, equipment suppliers, brokers, and sailboat owners' associations. The 35th edition in 2012 hosted 438 exhibitors (222 national and 216 international) and 45,155 visitors. As the largest in-water boat show in Europe, offering sea trials, and the first event on the international yachting calendar, it takes place over six days in mid-September across three venues: the Vieux-Port of Cannes, the Pierre-Canto Port, and the Riviera space of the Palais des Festivals and Congresses. For the 36th edition in 2013, 400 international exhibitors showcased 450 boats and yachts on the water, including nearly 140 new premieres and 169 yachts ranging from 20 to 70 meters. The event is organized by Reed Expositions France.
