Aetea is a 40.78-meter motor yacht built by the Italian shipyard Picchiotti and delivered in 1981. She boasts a beam of 7.85 meters, a draft of 2.5 meters, and a gross tonnage of 337 GT, offering a blend of classic elegance and substantial onboard volume. Originally named Al Said, Aetea features exterior styling by Arthur de Fever, with naval architecture completed by Picchiotti. She accommodates up to 10 guests across well-appointed cabins, along with quarters for 10 crew members including the captain. Constructed with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, Aetea is powered by two MTU engines that deliver a cruising speed of 14.5 knots and a maximum speed of 16.0 knots. She carries 39,000 liters of fuel and 20,000 liters of fresh water, ensuring autonomy for extended cruising. Ranked as the 2,756th largest yacht in the world and the 8th-largest built by Picchiotti, Aetea last underwent a refit in 2014 in Greece. She is currently offered for sale at an asking price of €3,400,000.
