Koru is a 50 meter motor yacht built by the renowned Dutch shipyard Feadship and delivered in 1983. With a beam of 8.41 meters, a draft of 2.49 meters, and a volume of 435 GT, she combines timeless design with performance. Previously known under names such as Azteca, Lionwind, and Mi Alicia, Koru features both exterior and interior design by the legendary Jon Bannenberg Ltd., with naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects. Koru accommodates up to 10 guests in refined comfort, along with a crew of 9 including the captain. Built with an aluminium hull and superstructure, she is powered by twin MTU engines, allowing for a cruising speed of 19 knots and a top speed of 22 knots. Her fuel capacity is 50,000 liters, with 12,000 liters of fresh water on board, offering excellent autonomy for extended journeys. Ranked 1254th among the largest yachts in the world, Koru is the 120th-largest ever built by Feadship. She underwent her most recent refit in 2024 in Malta and remains in excellent condition. Koru is currently offered for sale at an asking price of €8,950,000.
