160m LURSSEN SUPERYACHT BLUE ON SEA TRIALS

The 160-metre superyacht Blue by Lürssen heading out for sea trials from her builder’s facilities in Bremen, Germany. With an estimated 15,320 GT of volume, she’s set to brush shoulders with Dilbar (15,917 GT) – also Lürssen-built – as being one of the largest superyachts in the world, in terms of volume.

The 160-metre superyacht has been shrouded in secrecy and very little is known about her. We know that Terence Disdale Design created her exterior and interior design, while her naval architecture was penned by Lürssen.

Lürssen has equipped Blue with a large helipad forward and an abundance of alfresco space to aft. Blue also has a generous swim platform aft, providing guests with seamless access to the water. She’s been penned with clean, straight lines that give her a modern aesthetic.

Blue was launched in the early hours on 24 February, and this undertaking of her sea trials marks one more step to her delivery later this year.
