STELLA DEL SUD: THE GLITZY 110M SUPERYACHT CONCEPT BASED ON A DIAMOND

Italian design studio Gabriele Teruzzi Yachts & Design has unveiled the renderings for a new 110-metre superyacht concept, Stella Del Stud. The superyacht takes inspiration from the shape of a diamond with distinctive lines and a sharp hull. As if that wasn’t enchanting enough, she also takes her name from the famous Cartier 128 carat diamond.

The innovative superyacht Stella Del Sud showcases a strong personality, unique character, and even shares some traits that are attributed to the Art Deco style. Andrea Agrusta from NavalHEAD contributed to Stella del Sud's technical engineering. A key feature to this design are her exterior shapes that all flow into the centre, to create the illusion of a decorative jewel piece. The sleek design, and flowing lines also provide the yacht, Stella Del Sud, with a lot of dynamism and modernity.

The interior of Stella Del Sud presents a modern and contemporary interior design making every room perfect for a glamorous evening party or a relaxing cocktail. The design has been inspired by an elegant penthouse, and includes custom vertical panels in her saloon, that are inspired by the feathers of a peacock.

Her interior also features innovative solutions, such as the double height main saloon that overlooks the sea. The main saloon is surrounded by large panoramic windows that flood the room with plenty of natural light and emphasise the light tones throughout. And when the night draws to a close, the magical ‘rain effect’ lighting gracefully falls from the double height ceiling, to illuminate the room like stars. The upper deck of the saloon also presents a dining area that faces towards the large starboard windows.

Guests are able to conveniently reach the main and upper aft decks via her custom spiral staircase. The superyacht Stella Del Sud, exudes luxury with a majestic piano lounge area towards the bow on the main deck which overlooks the ocean through a side window. The yacht Stella Del Sud also has a cinema located on her bilge deck to take advantage of the dark environment and to ensure the best visibility for the images on screen.

The superyacht Stella Del Sud is able to accommodate up to 18 guests across nine luxurious staterooms. Her eight VIP staterooms are located forward on the main deck with two on each side, complete with integrated terrace in the bulwarks.

The owner’s suite occupies the majority of the bridge deck and features his-and-hers bathrooms with Jacuzzi’s, a spa table wave, salt wall and walk-in-wardrobes in each. The owner’s suite of Stella Del Sud also has a private office for those that need to work away from home. The room is adorned with light wood and custom sculptures in bush-hammered gold. However, the key feature of the room is the aquarium by Melik above the bed to further enhance the exclusive and luxurious environment.

The lower deck of Stella Del Sud houses a large full-beam wellness area including a beauty and massage room, a gym, sauna, steam room and a multifunctional room called ‘Aqua Room.’ This space offers guests a bar, large Jacuzzi and relaxing beds. The room has been carefully curated with natural materials such as teak, combined with dark blue tones and contrasted by gold details to increase the feeling of wellbeing, and to make the environment even more magnificent.

Stella Del Sud’s foredeck features a helipad as well as an intimate private lounge area and swimming pool. The deck also offers guests plenty of sunbeds and L-shaped sofas that are perfectly integrated within the superstructure design.

The 330 square-metre sun deck of Stella Del Sud also offers two different connected areas, with the first located forward with an infinity custom Jacuzzi. The second space allows guests to dine alfresco around a round dining table.

Aft of Stella Del Sud is a 23-metre open beach area inspired by the Royal Palace of Caserta, Italy and spans almost 300 square-metres. It has been designed with several split levels to incorporate three integrated swimming pools, which create a waterfall effect. There is also a waterfall that emerges from the superstructure, and has been positioned to break up the aft glass window and give proportion to the yacht.
