ADMIRAL UNVEILS THE MOMENTUM 85 SUPERYACHT, THE PINNACLE OF THE MOMENTUM SERIES

Admiral Yachts, a brand of The Italian Sea Group, has unveiled the Momentum 85 superyacht, a new concept superyacht released a tandem with the Momentum series. The 85-metre model is offered alongside the Momentum 60, Momentum 47 and the Momentum 40, providing an option for all superyacht owners.

Characterised by clean lines and expansive use of glass, the series has been inspired by the yachts of the 30s and 40s; a modern take on the traditional yachting aesthetic. Developed in collaboration with the naval architect Gian Marco Campanino, the yachts are "floating villas, decorated in luxurious elegance."

The Momentum 85 has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and offers guests a comfortable 13-metre beam. Glass is a major feature of the design with uninterrupted glazing from bow to aft on each of her four tiered decks.

The aft deck of the superyacht is home to a very large pool and the transom has been designed with a canoe style stern, a nod to the yachts of the gentleman's era of the early 20th century.  The successive decks each offer a large pool or Jacuzzi and the foredeck is home to a touch-and-go helipad. Below the pool on the main deck is an expansive beach club, with hydraulic side platforms to open the space to the elements. Solar panels have been placed discretely across the vessels superstructure.

The yacht has three-quarter wrap around decks on the main deck, while the three upper decks have full wrap around teak decks that offer a seating area at the bow, looking over the water with uninterrupted views.
