ANI: THE 80M OCEANCO SIMPLY CUSTOM SUPERYACHT DESIGNED BY VALLICELLI DESIGN

Oceanco has unveiled the renderings of the 80-metre superyacht concept Ani, from their growing Simply Custom yacht series. Ani has been designed by Vallicelli Design and is part of the Simply Custom Collection by Oceanco, which provides a technical foundation for designers to build upon.

The Simply Collection of 17 superyachts was first announced at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2023 and provides world-renowned designers with a canvas to create a characteristically stunning Oceanco yacht.

“Our design for The Collection, Ani, is built on essential stylistic signs, represented by very soft lines with highly expressive volumes,” explained designers Alessandro Nazareth and Andrea Vallicelli of Vallicelli Design.

“Her original aesthetic solutions combine slender shapes with very large internal spaces, resulting in a stylistic ‘sweetness’ and femininity. The elegance of the architectural solutions and the refined decorative elements make her a yacht aimed to inspire a strong aesthetic attraction.”

Ani boasts a soft geometric superstructure, with sleek hull shapes to create a slender, well-proportioned yacht. She is characterised by her bow’s taut sheerline, which becomes a concave, curved line amidships, sloping gently towards the stern and giving her an overall dynamic and elegant appearance.

The Simply Custom yachts feature a highly optimised and efficient hull design by Lateral Naval Architects, with all electric propulsion and energy architecture systems, incorporated into a DC grid system and onboard battery energy storage.

Ani combines essential and streamlined lines, with highly expressive volumes, which reflect the stylistic signature of Vallicelli Design. “The intentionally balanced stylistic signature, reflected in the harmonious contrasts between ‘sweet’ and rigid formal element, can be clearly recognised,” added Vallicelli Design.

The Simply Collection yachts feature a gross tonnage of approximately 2,500-2,700 GT, with her guest areas spanning across five decks. The yachts in The Collection are typically configured with an owner’s stateroom on the upper deck and six guest suites on the main deck, all of which reach Red Ensign Group’s Large Yacht Code Part A regulatory compliance requirements.

The Simply Custom yacht series provides tailored solutions for all lifestyle needs and yachting priorities including, but not limited to, watersports and diving packages, state-of-the-art entertainment packages, with AV, IT and lighting installation and enhanced sustainability, via a smart-eco package.

“Ani is a balanced yacht in which the search for beauty is rooted in the classic tradition and in the achievement of the right proportion,” concluded Vallicelli Design.

Ani joins Oceanco's Simply Custom Collection which already includes, the Espen Øino-designed yacht Clarity and the Taylor Design yacht Aeolus 80.
