FIFTH AMELS 60 LIMITED EDITIONS SUPERYACHT LAUNCHED

The fifth hull in Damen Yachting’s Limited Edition Amels 60 superyacht series has been launched.

The yacht was sold in October 2021, with the early entrance of the owner enabling "a number of client customisations" according to Jorrit Pilaar, sales manager at Damen Yachting.

The fifth hull features a custom charcoal and white superstructure and lengthened sun and bridge decks, courtesy of Espen Øino. The 830GT custom interior has been styled by a private designer chosen by the owner, with details yet to be disclosed.

Accommodation on board is for a total of 12 guests and a crew of 13. Elsewhere, the yacht features a large swim platform, folding owner’s suite balcony and storage for a nine-metre tender on the foredeck. A hybrid propulsion package provides the yacht with a top speed of 13 knots.

According to BOATPro, Amels has 11 yachts currently under construction, including the 80-metre Project Zurich.

This launch follows the delivery of the third Amels 60, christened Khalidah, in November 2023.
