WORLD’S LARGEST SPORTFISH YACHT PROJECT 406 LAUNCHED

The 52-metre Royal Huisman superyacht Project 406 has launched. The yacht was spotted travelling through Amsterdam earlier this week, heading towards Royal Huisman's Huisfit facility in Zaandam, in preparation for her launch. The yacht passed by the SuperYacht Times office on her journey.

Project 406 houses six decks and is the world’s largest true sport fisherman yacht. With an interior volume of 500 GT, Project 406 has been entirely crafted by Vripack Yacht Design.

The superyacht displays an elongated bow and high bulwarks, sweeping through a clear sheer to a low cockpit aft. The yacht’s high tower offers panoramic views for guests to enjoy, in addition the tower has been designed with a downward angle on the water for specialised fishing.

Pascarelli Consulting acted as the owner's representative during her build.

The bespoke yacht combines the size and comfort of a superyacht while still providing an unmatched fishing experience. Project 406 has been engineered by the shipyard team of over 350 individual experts and highly qualified co-makers. Featuring both an aluminium hull and superstructure, the superyacht has been crafted for an experienced owner.

The yacht’s onboard system and technical installations have been tested and completed. Project 406 is now in transit, in preparation for her launch and subsequent sea trials.
