SIXTH 41M BAGLIETTO DOM 133 YACHT BARBARA ANNE LAUNCHED

Italy-based yacht builder Baglietto has announced the launch of the sixth 40.9-metre DOM 133 yacht Barbara Anne at the Carrara harbour, in the presence of her owner.

Also known as hull 10249, Barbara Anne features exterior design by Studio Vafiadis, with naval architecture by her builder Baglietto. She was sold in April 2022, with Sean Doyle of Northrop & Johnson representing the buyer.

Barbara Anne features a highly customised layout, paired with distinctive contemporary exterior lines inspired by automotive design. According to designer Stefano Vafiadis, DOM stands for Domus, meaning ‘home’ in Latin, with the yacht’s core ideology being that it is a home away from home.

Her main saloon benefits from extensive glazing, while floor-to-ceiling windows on her upper deck open onto side balconies, ensuring a closer contact to the sea. Barbara Anne’s interiors have been penned by Leonardo Santi, with unmistakable shades from the automotive industry.

The interiors of Barbara Anne are adorned with iconic shades such as Ferrari red, green, and blue and Lamborghini orange, which can be found in her guest staterooms on the lower deck. With an internal volume of 411 GT, Barbara Anne can sleep up to 10 guests across five staterooms.

A warm cream and bronze colour palette and light-shade wood, both smooth and striped, with LED inserts and bronze-coated finishes can be found throughout, creating a contemporary style with refined elegance.

Her central staircase, also designed with striped wood and LED inserts, is crowned by a magnificent bespoke chandelier by Paolo Castelli. All furniture, both indoors and outdoors of Barbara Anne has been designed by Minotti with customised fabrics.

Barbara Anne has been designed with entertainment and relaxation in mind. Her exterior decks include a two deck pool aft, with her logo engraved on the bottom, while her fully-custom sun deck has been specially designed and built for this hull.

Performance-wise, Barbara Anne is powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines, allowing her to reach an impressive top speed of 17 knots.

According to SYT iQ, Barbara Anne will join her DOM 133 sisterships, Perla Bianca, Lee, Astera and Attitude in the water.
