A FIRST LOOK INSIDE 67M HEESEN SUPERYACHT SPARTA

New images of the 67m Heesen superyacht Sparta reveal the charm and luxury found inside the remarkably creative and fully customised interior of this fully customised vessel.

As the third-largest yacht built by Netherlands-based shipyard Heesen to date, the motor yacht boasting a spacious volume of 1,200 GT exhibits an artistic, nautical interpretation of the natural elements through an interior and exterior both conceived by the esteemed, London-based studio Winch Design.

At first glance, Sparta’s exterior, which includes a beam of 11.5-metres and a draft of 3.3-metres, emanates a sleek, athletic feel, framed by distinctive yet classic dark crimson lines. Built with a striking reverse bow, the profile of this cutting-edge superyacht exudes a swfit and razor-sharp feel, which is characteristic of Heesen's "low, sporty" yacht styles, explains James Russell of Winch Design.

As for her interior, many as 12 guests can enjoy this aquatic trailblazer thanks to her five extravagant staterooms.

The aerial, roomy master suite situated on Sparta’s upper deck is garnished with soft, soothing shades of blue from top to bottom that echo the blissful surrounding waterscape while also referencing a tropical sky. In the meantime, her fully connecting VIP staterooms boast an intricate beach design woven into their carpet, reminding guests that the ocean is never far.

Moreover, the choice to connect the master stateroom to an aft deck and private ensuite bathroom ensures an expansive, satisfying luxury for those onboard.

Additionally, a second owner’s stateroom features full-length windows allowing for ample natural light, while an entrancing artwork depicting a constellation of stars spans over an entire wall in an avant-garde, chic decor.

The unique, eye-catching interior design also extends to Sparta’s communal spaces, including her saloon, where an earthy colour-palette, accentuated by an oak trunk coffee table, provide a tactile, nature-infused feel to an otherwise modern and sophisticated space.

As for her indoor dining area, the wooden table is flanked by visually striking yet comfortable chairs with ornamentations resembling leaf veins that augment the nature-based theme of Sparta’s imaginative furnishings.

Further amenities designed for relaxation and socialising are plentiful on the lower deck of the superyacht, which contains an ocean-themed, tranquil wellness centre, complete with a spa, elliptical whirlpool, sauna, gym, and rejuvenating beauty zone. The roomy Turkish-inspired spa contains a thrilling whirlpool, providing opportunities for playful, family-oriented socialising.

Another natural element that never feels far aboard this vessel is Sparta's vast sun deck, dotted with sumptuous furniture and shades, as well as an observation lounge. The line between the outdoors and indoors is blended seamlessly in the minimalistic barrier separating Sparta's main saloon and her outdoor pool area.

Furthermore, beach steps descending deep into the surrounding sea ensure that those onboard the luxury craft can easily feel even more in touch with nature.

In terms of Sparta’s performance, her twin Rolls-Royce MTU engines allow for a gentle cruising speed of 12 knots and a top speed of 16 knots, over the course of an impressive 4,500 nautical mile range for those onboard to enjoy.
