EXCLUSIVE: 61M ROYAL HAKVOORT SUPERYACHT PROJECT ASIA ON SEA TRIALS

The 61-metre Royal Hakvoort superyacht Project Asia has been spotted on her sea trials by SuperYacht Times Content Creator Nick Smits. During her sea trials Project Asia passed through Amsterdam, the Netherlands and cruised past the SuperYacht Times office.

 

Designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design which were responsible for her exterior design, YN253, Project Asia, was commissioned by a passionate owner looking for a seamless blend of style, functionality.

 

Project Asia was designed with a carefully considered balance of indoor and outdoor spaces. She can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests across an six stateroom configuration, with her full-beam owner’s suite situated on a private deck.

 

The private owner’s deck includes a skylounge with a bar, panoramic views from the master stateroom, twin ensuite bathrooms, a private study and an alfresco seating and dining area aft for up to 16 people.

 

The main deck of Project Asia features a full-width VIP suite, with seating area and his and hers bathroom, as well as a lounge with a large dining table, seating area and bar. Further guest accommodations can be found on the lower deck, comprising four spacious double staterooms with ensuite bathrooms.

 

The aft lower deck aft also features a beachcomber with a massage room, a Hamman and entertainment area. The forward lower deck also has generous crew arrangements for eight.  

 

The upper deck of Project Asia is home to her wheelhouse and a range of facilities for the captain, as well as a spacious gym and outdoor seating aft. While the sundeck is complete with a swimming pool, full service bar, day head and a seating area with sunpads.

 

According to SYT iQ, Royal Hakvoort has several yachts in-build, including the 65-metre YN254, which was seen passing the SuperYacht Times office in November 2023, and the 45-metre YN256, with an expected delivery date of 2026.
