BIG SHARK

Delivered in 2024, BIG SHARK is a 47-metre Sanlorenzo 500EXP with a steel hull, aluminium superstructure and a dark grey exterior that gives the explorer platform a distinctly contemporary presence. Naval architecture and exterior lines are by Sanlorenzo Yachts, with interiors by Studio Indigo. Accommodation is arranged for up to 12 guests across five staterooms: a full-beam master on the main deck, two double VIPs and two twin cabins with pullman berths on the lower deck. The owner's study can be converted back to its original configuration for a sixth stateroom. Nine crew are accommodated in four cabins plus a captain's cabin. Twin CAT C32 ACERT engines of 1,900 hp each deliver a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12.5 knots, with a range of 5,800 nautical miles at 11 knots. Naiad Dynamics hydraulic stabilisers, a 110 kW bow thruster and a 7.5-tonne Heila crane support long-range cruising and tender operations. The yacht carries a Bluegame 33 tender, two Sea-Doo jet skis and two Seabob F5S, alongside a fitness area with a fitness wall, Peloton bike and custom bench.
