SCHAEFER 26M

Designed by Marcio Schaefer for Brazilian builder Schaefer Yachts, the Schaefer 26M offers a lot of space for her size. She measures 26.04 metres with a 6.20-metre beam, and her superstructure, flybridge and hardtop are built in carbon fibre to reduce weight and improve stability. Her strongest feature is how directly she connects to the water. Full-length side balconies open out from the main salon and turn the interior into a wide terrace at sea level. Forward, a foredeck lounge gives guests a private place to relax. The flybridge brings together a spa pool, alfresco dining and sunbathing areas under the hardtop. Aft, a tender garage holds a jet ski and water toys and opens onto a generous swim platform. Below deck, four or five cabins sleep 8 to 11 guests. They include a master stateroom amidships with a desk and lounge area, a VIP suite forward and twin cabins, and the interior can be fully customised. Several layouts are available, with the galley placed either on the main deck or on the lower deck. Triple 1,000 hp Volvo Penta IPS pod drives give her a cruising speed of 26 knots and a top speed of 34 knots, and she carries 5,100 litres of fuel. A crew of three runs the yacht.
