ROYAL HAKVOORT'S 61M SUPERYACHT PROJECT ASIA LAUNCHED

Project Asia has been launched from Royal Hakvoort's shipyard in Monnickendam, the Netherlands.

Designed inside and out by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, the 61-metre was sold in 2019 and began construction shortly after.

Also known as Hull YN 253, Project Asia features accommodation for a total of 12 guests, including a master cabin on a private deck, with a stateroom, two bathrooms, a study and skylounge.

The rest of the guest accommodation comprises a full beam VIP suite on the main deck, alongside the lounge and formal dining area. Four additional double cabins sit on the lower deck while the crew quarters of eight ensuite cabins sit on the lower deck. A swimming pool, bar and sunpads sit on the sundeck while the wheelhouse and gym are found on the upper deck.

Two large tenders will be stored in the garage on the main deck at port and starboard while the lower deck aft will include a massage room and Hammam.

According to BOATPro, Royal Hakvoort has three yachts currently under construction. The shipyard also recently signed a contract for a 45-metre superyacht designed by Hoek Design Naval Architects.
